A friend has sent me a photo at work of a Squatter Pigeon seen in Dthinna Dthinnawan NR/SCA (former Bebo SF) on the North West Slopes of NSW. It was seen in November this year. A bird was seen in the same area (same State Forest) in September 2001 when the surveys for the Brigalow Belt Assessment were being undertaken. Might be the place to try and track this species down in NSW.
Cheers,
Peter
