hi Grant and other Parrot hunters,

Unfortunately,  they have been very shy lately. On the last GP census in 
August, only a few were seen, and that was with 70+ people stomping across the 
heath trying to flush them out. However, we can't give up looking.

>From the main carpark, take the track that goes up to the Lodge. Then turn 
>right and go down the service trail.  The Parrots have been found right at the 
>start of the heath, on both sides of the track. Keep going down past and 
>around the weather station until you reach the creek. If you don't get the 
>Parrots, you should get a consolation prize of Emu wrens,  Bristlebirds and
