Good morning Birders,

A Powerful Owl, female by call, sat in our Ironbark and called well
for half an hour from 4am this morning as a thunder storm rumbled and
rolled past. Unusual for this time of year? I thought the Powerfuls
were really only vocal during nesting. I'm hoping it was perusing our
Brushtail possum menu for a return visit later in the week.
