Peter and Birding-aussers,
To be straight to the point they are humanely disposed of I hope. Living in the Torres Strait for part of the year I can state that from time to time AQIS officers are responsible for the disposal of vermin found on illegal Indonesian fishing vessels. This is carried out humanely for such species as Osprey, White-bellied Sea-Eagle and Pied Imperial Pigeon that they seem to collect on their travels. Jon Wren
