Lewin's rail

There seems to be very little information available on Lewin's rail along Australia's east coast (it is apparently extinct in WA). Can anybody point to any available literature or Internet material on this species - behaviour, seasonal movements, breeding, distribution, feeding ... anything and everything? Information and ideas would be gratefully received.
