Greetings,
There is a leucistic Fairy Martin at Hasties Swamp at the moment. The head is
the normal colour but a paler shade. The wings are pale orange-grey.

The habitat of Golden bowerbirds was severely disrupted by the cyclone and
there has been some contraction of normal breeding range prior to this. I have
been trying to find a site where people can track down these special birds
without having to pay for a guide. (I know you are a lousy lot but I rarely pay
for guides myself.) I will probably be out again tomorrow morning and if
successful will post it to this site.

Regards,
Alan Gillanders
