Hi all,
following Tim Murphy's post and Chris Brandis's reply re the above species, I 
thought it may be worth letting you all know that after a small feral  
(originally escapee) population built up to possibly 20,000 birds, there is now 
a move to cull this species in England.

The birds are causing great damage to crops and trees, anyone passing through 
Heathrow airport and with a few hours s to spare can see them in this general 
area.  A big flock used to roost near the Esher Rugby ground, not sure it they 
still do.
