Hi there birders,

A few days ago I visited Tolderol Game Reserve on the shores of Lake Alexandrina SE of Adelaide. It was a very disappointing visit as the ponds had no water in them and only a little water was present in the channels. Plenty of Whiskered Terns and not much else.

The only delight came in the form of a male Golden Headed Cisticola singing for all he was worth.

I managed to get some reasonable photos of him. See the photos here:
