Hi Gordon,
This year we have had a great increase in Magpie numbers here at Gorokan, on the NSW Central Coast, with up to 25 individuals in our yard at one time. Since this population boom, I have been seeing several individuals with "white capes" as in leuconata. All of the leuconata-like individuals appear to be juveniles in their first year. I am not sure if they are blow-ins or sports.
