Today at Congo Point on the NSW South Coast among the 120 Crested Terns
were at least 12 White-fronted Terns and a single Whiskered Tern in
breeding plumage. I guess it is pretty rare to see this species in a marine

Offshore the shearwater migration was in full swing. The usual Red-capped
Plovers (6) and Sooty Oystercatchers (5) were also present.
