Wood Duck ducklings

Last year, I saw a pair of Wood Ducks with a large number of ducklings - I forget how many. The interesting thing was the diversity in ages - some only a couple of days old, and all variations up to over half grown.

Others thought at that time it was a creche, which I had not encountered previously, but it seems it is not so unusual.

Cheers

Robyn
