Hi Birders,

I went out to Burren Junction on Saturday, 7th of October and found the Lapwing
within 15 minutes of looking. It was located behind the picnic table west of
the grain dump between the dirt track and the railway line. It soon joined the
two Masked Lapwings that were also near the railway line and hung with them for
about half and hour before flying off over the main road and disappeared into
the distance. The Lapwing looks to be in good condition, aside from the large
lump on its foot.
