Further down stream in Emu heights. There's a reserve of sorts that runs
along behind the housing estate and along the river. Surprisingly rich
diversity of birds down there, despite almost exclusively exotic botany.

Yesterday morning, about 20 White-winged Trillers in Tench Reserve,
Penrith
on banks of Nepean River, and this morning a Sacred Kingfisher seen and
heard calling.

No more Koels heard since the one I reported a couple of weeks ago and no
CB
Cuckoos so far.

Where do you find all the birds in Emu Heights, Evan? I went to Lennox
Bridge yesterday morning and saw a single Crimson Rosella and could not
hear
a thing. There were more birds in my back yard...
