Hi all ? I?m on a 10 acre property some 50 ks east of Perth WA and today had
a blue female Budgerigar land in a tree close to the house. Unfortunately I
was unable to catch it and want to try to entice it back again so I can save
it from what will most likely be a death at the talons of a raptor, raven,
kookaburra, magpie, owl, or reptile or whatever else will try to snag it.
Probably escapee from someone?s aviary as the bird was happy for my company
although not willing to let me catch it. If anyone can lead me to find a
suitable recording of a male budgie?s call, it would be most appreciated.
