Hi all

I've just had one of those hours that you remember for ever.
I had a hare (dead) which was pegged out in front of my hide in the hope of
attracting raptors. In the past the only thing that has come down at this site
are Forest Ravens but today at first not even they were around. After 90
cramped minutes a raven appeared only to fly away almost immediately. It was
flushed by a pair of Brown Falcons. They only stayed a matter of seconds
before being chased off by a lovely big female Brown Goshawk. After 30 minutes
and over one roll of film it too flew off and was replaced by a pair of
Whistling Kites. They also stayed for about 20 minutes and after finishing my
second roll of film I looked back through the viewfinder to see a Wedge-tailed
Eagle had replaced the kites! I ran out of film after four so just had to sit
and watch until it decided to leave.

cheers

Rob Drummond
