Hi Brian

I know your posting was about LATE nesting but a trend to EARLY nesting is well established in Britain where they have the long-standing breeding birds survey.

I know some students have tried to run projects to collect data here on breeding dates but I am not aware of any publications.

One item from Britain is:

"Climate change" is the probable cause. I know this term was adopted partly because global warming does not necessarily produce warming everywhere and the effects on birds are difficult to predict because the whole food chain is affected. But it sounds really mild. How about "Climate damage"?
