A bit late I think. Both Eastern & Long-billed are abundant now. In fact
eastern parrots, generally, are far more common in Perth than the any
western parrot, with the expectation of the 28s and Galahs. At least the
Sulphur-crested Cockatoos didn't get a foothold.

This is a request for birders from WA to provide us with a current situation
report on Eastern Long-billed Corellas in that state. Are they increasing in
numbers? In light of the perilous state of the northern ssp. of the Western
Corella in particular, should the easterns be tollerated and allowed to
establish a viable population?. This appears to be a situation that maybe
should be nipped in the bud?
