When in doubt on ranges refer to the old Pizzey (& Doyle).
The old Pizzey states:
"... from Cape York Pen. Q south to Clarence River and Woolgoolga,
NSW...... and inland to about Bourke, Walgett".
He notes this race as palliceps extends to northern NSW (as above)
and starts around Longreach - Richmond, Qld.
