My list last night included:
Silvereye
Pied Currawong
Australian Magpie
Australian Raven
Grey Fantail
Willie Wagtail
Brown Honeyeater
plus a few more that I can't remember
and the parting shot looked a lot like Mt Warning in the Tweed Valley.
Cheers,
Peter

Was watching the excellent program "Answered by Fire" on the ABC last night
(very topical in view of the current troubles in East Timor, although it was
actually originally scheduled for a week ago befofre the trouble started)
and there was a very clear call of an Eastern Whipbird at one stage. As far
as I know this is endemic to Australia, and I was aware that the program had
been filmed in Queensland, but I wonder what other bird calls give away the
locations where films were made - I seem to recall that a Kookaburra was
heard in some Tarzan films?
