Hi
In mid April I spent 2 1/2 days at Koeladeo NP, some 3 hours by train
south of Delhi and arranged by Indian Moments after working at Nanded
for a week. This is a wetland park that started as a shooting place for
the maharajas and white army officers and an oasis in the middle of
teaming people and intense agriculture. As it was the start of the hot
season, 40+ every day, and I was the only guest at the hotel in the park
and had great service. Had the Indian Moment guide the first day and
either walked or hired a bike the rest of the time. I saw 126 species
which brought my Indian total to 225.
IM did a great job getting me from Delhi to the park and back to the
airport and I found them through he web and can recommend them as
traveling in India is a bit chaotic.
Cheers Chris
