  Hi all,

This morning at around 0730 a group us (Chris and Rosemary Lester, Jen
Spry, Ray Schultz, Grant Penrhyn and myself) saw an Osprey fishing
about 200 m west of the light house on Griffith Island, Port Fairy
(south-west Victoria). It was seen to catch a ~6 inch fish and then
fly east past the light house and out of sight. Chris obtained some
good record photographs. Several people searched for it over the next
few hours but I have yet to hear if any of them were successful. This
remains a very rare bird in Victoria.

  Regards,
  Rohan Clarke
