Gday,
Just a few moments ago I was attracted to the sound of a blackbird outside my house at Wyoming NSW. They have been gradually been coming closer for the last 7 years or so. But when I looked outside I watched a brief altercation between a grey butcherbird and a currawong. The butcherbird was mimicking just about every local bird, including blackbirds, peewees, magpies, ....and currawongs.
The currawong was apparently either totally confused or fascinated.

I expect to see the currawong next week sporting a dobro guitar or a harmonica.

Regards,
Peter
