My Mother, also a Blue Mountainsite has spotted a Sun-Bird in their suburban backyard. The identification is unmistakeable; bright yellow with a dark bid and curved bill. We both doubt it got there of its own accord; is it a common aviary species? If so is anyone missing a male Sun-bird? I'd be interested to hear any opinions you have on the matter. -- Evan Beaver Lapstone, Blue Mountains, NSW lat=-33.77, lon=150.64 ==============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: ============================= |
