For the past 5 years, I have documented the arrival dates of Straw-necked
Ibis at my local park in Penrith. Each year they have arrived the first week
of June and usually the last one has left by the second week of September.
Usually the flock builds up to around 20 regulars, and I have seen around 50
for a few days.

This year however, two arrived last Sunday, and seem to have already taken
up residenc. Maybe Winter is a bit early this year?

Regards, Mike Simpson
