Peter, Great to have a birdo visiting one of the Orange-bellied Parrot
sites in Bass Strait.

Peter Menkhorst (OBP Recovery Team, Victoria) has advised me to pass the
following onto you.

* Sea Elephant Inlet
Try the southern shore but be aware that as there is a large area of
saltmarsh OBPs could occur over any part of this. It is a very open and
flat area so you will need to be vigilant of disturbing birds well ahead
of you. If you recognise the distinctive call this will certainly help.

* Orange-bellied Parrot sightings
All observations of Orange-bellied Parrots should be immediately forwarded
to Chris Tzaros at Birds Australia 415 Riversdale Rd., East Hawthorn 3123
(9882 2622)

Chris is the OBP Winter Project Officer and would be interested to receive
your observations.

Good luck and let us know how you go.
