Some sightings that were reported to Birdline NSW over the last week may be of
interest:

a male SATIN BOWERBIRD was reported from Clovelly in Sydney's east by Dave
Mitford.

there is an as yet unconfirmed report of a WHITE WINGED CHOUGH in a paddock at
McPherson Street, Warriewood.

a couple of POWERFUL OWLS have been reported in the city. One was outside a
North Sydney office for a couple of days last week, and another is roosting
outside the Australian Museum in William Street. It was still there on Monday
3 April. It's in the small group of trees to the east of the William Street
exit (i.e. between there and the driveway). Unfortunately as the whole of the
footpath along that block of William Street is being repaved, access isn't easy.
