Maybe, but what has that got to do with birds or
birding? I think it absurd but don't know why that is
obscene or even remotely interesting or relevant. If people wish to spend that
much, so what? So I hope this doesn't lead to a debate.
I would like to disagree with
Tony and say that, fortunately, in contrast to Tony's assertion in using the
plural of Howard, THERE IS ONLY ONE HOWARD within the context of his statement.
Therefore he should have written: Did you see that it was $10,000 a plate at
Howard's poxy dinner last night!!! And that has nothing to do with birds
either.
