For what it is worth, I believe the original author accidently sent the
initial post to the list - as a consequence of hitting the "reply all"
button, rather than the "reply" button. Since then, there have been a
further 8 posts to the list [including this one]. The bulk of those
posts could have been sent offline.
If you want to send an email to a BAus person, insert their address
into the "to" box, rather than hitting the "reply" button to one of
their posts to BAus. That way you will avoid sending a private message
to the list, and the subsequent cascade of online posts. Those of you
annoyed by such posts should respond directly to the original author
[ie offline] so that the thread dies off rather continuing to flare up.
