ultimate tick - consummated

Ours weren't anything major, just good examples of things going right.
Our first (Al and I) official birding trip, our target species were the
Bee-Eater (not just identify, but get a good photograph) and a wombat,
both of which we ticked with ease. 
Then on a recent trip to Richmond NSW we wanted to get some pics of a
quail, and duly a family of 7 brown quail wandered out in front of us
to pose for photos. Shortly after Alistair asked Keith and Al (sorry I
can't remember your surnames, but many thanks for showing us the ins
and outs of quailing) if they knew of any good spots for Azure KF. They
mentioned some, which we'll return to, but decided on a change of
course to get home faster. Stopped at the Nepean river for 10 minutes,
and an Azure landed on a branch just 4 metres from us. Another tick. We
then requested a few other rarities from the Twitching Gods, but none
were forthcoming.

Not so much an ultimate ticks, but i've had some ultimate ticking days this year.

In January, i ticked Long Toed Stint, Red Necked Phalarope, Oriental Pratincole and Wood Sandpiper all on the same day at the WTP.

Last Sunday, i had another UltimateTicking day up at Darwin thanks to Sheryl and Arthur Keates. Within 3 hours i ticked Little Ringed Plover, Yellow Wagtail,  the nominate race of Little Egret (maybe not technically a tick), and Black-headed Gull.

On a more cheerful note. What was your last consummated ultimate tick, the bird which you dreamed of but finally got - and where?
 
Mine is Forest Wagtail - Thailand.
