Good description Ricki.I was at Ash Island today and thought I heard a White throated gerygone, but of coarse it was a mangrove gerygone. (around pole 22-21). The best way to locate the Mangrove Gerygone is often by its call which compares fairly well to that of the White-throated Gerygone, though not as complex. It's a very musical series of descending notes sometimes referred to as the "falling leaf" call. You're almost certain to hear this charming chappie before you see it.Hope that helps.
