Dear all - This came down the pipe from the Nature-Singapore listserver.
Looks like a great place to go for good birds and a holiday ...

Raptor Watch is an annual event run by Malaysian Nature Society to
promote conservation of birds of prey and their habitats. Held on every
first weekend of March near one of Malaysia’s last remaining patches of
coastal forest, Raptor Watch is the only nature related public event
conducted in a large scale in Malaysia. Raptor Watch is an event
organised by Malaysian Nature Society in partnership with the Melaka
state government. It’s a festival to celebrate the return of the
migratory birds of prey or better known as raptors on their journey back
to their breeding grounds in the northern hemisphere. Raptor Watch is
public event meant to raise awareness on the conservation of birds of
prey and their habitats.
