Hello Val, just a comment on your Wonga Pigeon record at Gembrook east of Melbourne.

The Atlas of Victorian Wildlife (AVW) shows the Gembrook area to be on the western edge of the species range in Victoria and indeed there appears to be other records from the Great Divide in the Gembrook area.

It's worth noting, however, that there are no recent records of Wonga Pigeon from your area (for at least 5 or 6 years it seems).

If you'd like to provide me with
- the full locality details, and
- the other fauna you observed at the time at this location,

I can submit it to my colleagues in the AVW section.

cheers, Martin
