Hi All,

Apart from the usual (so far small numbers of) White-throated Needletails over Canberra, a whole lot of people spread throughout several suburbs of Canberra have observed flocks of up to about 50 Fork-tailed Swifts flying very high over Canberra (mostly yesterday). I saw about 20 (very hard to count) over my house in Kambah yesterday (not just over, they were at considerable altitude, just barely visible).  I sure am glad I upgraded to Leica binoculars. This is quite a treat for Canberra.
