Hi All

Had a great day out SW of Melbourne on Wednesday 1st of Feb guided around by Simon Mustoe, even though it pretty much rained all day. Started at Werribbee and once it got light enough managed to get great views of the Red-necked Phalarope at the Eastern Conservation Ponds. Also saw Wood Sandpiper there and after an hours searching a winter plumaged Long-toed Stint - thanks to Danny Rogers for extra info.

After lunch headed to Cheetham POnds and very ably assisted by Berrnie McGarrick found the summer plumagedLittle Stint almost straight away. We only had time for a brief look though before it flew off and we couldn't re-find it in the next 2 hours.

Cheers
Phil.
