Can anyone enlighten me as to why Australia has as yet still no
nationwide list of Important Bird Areas?
We are far behind the rest of the world in this. According to the
Birdlife International website there are complete IBA lists already
for Africa, Eurasia, the Middle East and parts of America and even
Antarctica.
