I'm glad to hear there will be a new list as I've found some
disagreement amongst books and sources about current names/genera for
various species. When published, is this list likely to include a
notation about those species that have only been recorded on oceanic
islands, not on the mainland or continental islands? (When I keep
track of sightings, I treat every oceanic island as independent, even
within an archipelago.)
