Noisy Friarbird perching

When studying some (failed) photos I took this morning of a Noisy Friarbird in our backyard in Hughes, ACT, I noticed something interesting.When perched, the NF doesn't seem to wrap its hind toe and claw around the branch, but instead sits on its front toes on the branch, as in this photo.

How long it takes you (me actually) to spot what's right in front of you (me)!
