Some years ago RAOU (as they were then) published an edition of Wingspan where a list was published of the next likely species to be recorded from Australia. I recall Blue-tailed Bee-eater was the number one species picked. I have just had a look through my copies of Wingspan and unfortunately couldn't find this list.
Does anyone have this list?
How many species predicted have so far been recorded in Australia? I think I recall the first new species was a Savanna Nightjar from Christmas Island, which was not on the list.
Cheers,
Peter
