I thought some of you might be interested that the
request for importation of a Eurasian Collared Dove was rejected following
public comment earlier in the year. I witnessed the invasion of this bird in the
early 1990's when living in Alabama where it spread north and west from the
AL coast in a very short time. So hopefully this action will keep this
bird species out of the country.
