Hi Mike and Birding-aussers,

This morning there were between 40 and 50 White-throated Needletails
overflying Irrawong Reserve on Sydney's Northern Beaches .

Saw them again later at Warriewood Wetland about 1 K. to the east. On this
occasion they were not alone, I had a Swamp Harrier, Grey Goshawk and
needletails in my bins at the same time. Nearby there was a Sacred
Kingfisher feeding young in the nest and, most unusually for this location,
an Azure Kingfisher. The Tawny Grassbird may have young, it flew backwards
and forward several times to a location out in the main reedbed where I have
seen it drop into the reeds previously.

Bruce.
