Thanks for the replies. From my sister-in-laws initial description I too was heading down the Eastern Spinebill track until I saw the video footage. I put the video footage onto computer this morning and got a great and much clearer freeze view of the Gardenia Bee Hawk Moth that Colin mentioned, including an identical black patterning on the orange lower section.
