Hi all,

It is now fairly quiet here but this week we have recorded our first Hoary-headed Grebe on the property and I have also heard and seen Button-quail, but not identified which one yet.

Rufous Songlarks, at least two but I think more, were heard and seen on our hill on Sunday 13th. They were still around today but have not yet ventured down the area where they nested in 2003 (they were not recorded at all in 2004).

Sacred Kingfisher have also been heard every day this week and I finally saw a pair today.

Today I also watched the Western Gerygones nest-building quite close to the 2004 site.
