Went to Lake Illawarra 1 hour south of Sydney on Sunday afternoon with Jill Molan who found a Little Terns nest the day before. There was a nest with one egg plus another bird making a scrape. We counted only six birds but a number of terns could been seen out to sea. This is a early nesting record for these terns and I hope that they will have a good season as the last two years all nest were lost, first year to a hail storm and last year to foxes.       Regards Terrill
