Hello,

The RSPB, BirdLife Partner in the UK has recently launched a campaign to Save the Albatross. As part of this campaign we are working with the Volvo Ocean Race to raise awareness. The ocean race has a traveling school comprising of children of the crew and staff who accompany the race.

We are looking for 'buddy' schools for the traveling school in ports where the race visits. I am looking for a school in Melbourne that would be interested in linking with the school to exchange emails, possibly hold web chats and to meet when the race comes to Melbourne in January.

If you are a teacher at a school in Melbourne and would be interested in linking with the traveling school, then please email me at

For more information about the campaign have a look at the website - www.savethealbatross.net

Thank you,

Farrah Stevens
