A recent
posting (Trevor and Hazel Cowie 4 Nov) mentioned that adminstration of Birdline
Victoria had changed hands recently and stated that there was "an
indication of charges sooner or later". Whilst it is true that Birdline Victoria
is now maintained by Richard and Margaret Alcorn of Eremaea Birds, you may rest
assured that there has never been any contemplation of charges for Birdline
Victoria. The small cost of running Birdline Victoria over the Internet is
being fully borne by Eremaea Birds as a service to the birding community.
Birdline Victoria will continue to be a free service.
