Reminds me of the Apostlebirds in the camping area at Lake Mungo in western
NSW. They would all stop what they were doing and fly to a particular tree
near the toilet block whenever they saw a camper going to the toilet. The
tap for washing one's hands was outside the block and a puddle was left
under it whenever anyone washed their hands. The birds would wait for the
person to leave and then fly down to drink from the quickly vanishing
puddle.
