Hello all,

Just a note of thanks for all those thats provided information on possible locations for Rock Warbler and Bulbul for me recently. Yesterday I managed to get both.

Pilotbird will wait for another time.

I drove bright and early yesterday up to Deep Creek at Narromine. I nestled in at the waterfall and was resigned to the possibility of a long wait! - Within fifteen minutes a most obliging Rock Warbler appeared and provided a wonderful close up view for about ten minutes! I was impressed at what a pretty little bird it is!

I then decided to walk around the area and was delighted to see a Black Bittern flying down the Creek! Just my second ever sighting! A number of other species were seen before I took off to the nearby Warriewood Wetlands to find a Bulbul! It didnt take me long to find my first one, and then subsequently a number of others. ( What a nice spot Warriewood Wetlands is - I saw a number of species seen included Black-faced Monarch, Brown Gerygone, Varied Sitella, Koel, Little Wattlebird, Red Wattlebird, Brown and Yellow Thornbill , Chestnut Teal, Grey Teal etc

Then back on a plane to Brisbane!

So thanks again for the assistance.
