We continue to get nice surprises via the bird world.
Last week 3 different raptors nests were found here on Bowra.
Black-breasted Buzzard with 2 downy chicks in residence, a Brown Falcon's nest and a Square-tailed Kite sitting on her nest. Last year we watched the progress of a Wedge-tailed Eagle Chick from egg to fledging and hopefully we will be able to do the same for the above birds this year. We also have a Collared Sparrowhawk sitting on her nest. This is an old nest and used by the Sparrowhawks each year.
Julie.
