According to the BBC, its only know so far that the parrot had H5 subtype
influenza but its sound likely it was H5N1.

Today's Sun-Herald has another appalling piece of journalism under
"Killer Virus - the facts".  After some sentences about H5N1 we are told
"the virus" was found in  racing pigeons imported from Canada.

Can we blood test the relevant journalist and quarantine them as a danger
to public health if they have influenza A antibodies?
