We were walking in our grounds yesterday afternoon and saw our first 2 channel-billed Cuckoos sitting quietly in a tree about 5m. from a pied currawongs nest which they were watching closely. When they saw us they flew off quietly. The currawongs spent the rest of the afternoon calling regularly. They constructed their nest about 3 weeks ago but we do not know if there are any eggs in it yet.It is about 10m.above the ground.
